iCollege Students

Information Resources Management College (NDU iCollege) students can finish their M.S. by transferring up to 12 credit hours into Missouri S&T's master's degree program in Computer Science. Areas of specialty are in critical infrastructure protection and information assurance with additional specialization in computational intelligence and software engineering.  

Computer Science (MS)
To earn the MS in Computer Science an additional 21 hours are required, including 18 hours of advanced 400-level classes. This must be accomplished within 12 months from the date you start classes. 

Prerequisite Requirements: GPA ≥ 3.0 or better over the last 2 years, or successful completion of 12 graduate hours in computer science as a "probationary" graduate student at Missouri S&T with at least a 3.0 GPA; GRE V≤370; GRE Q ≥ 700; and WR ≥ 4.0; International requirement: TOEFL ≥ 570, CBT ≥ 230 or IBT ≥ 89 or IELTS 7 or above, for those students whose native language is not English. Candidates must possess strong math skills, competency in a modern programming  language, and computer science core that includes algorithms and data structures, computer organization and architecture, database and file structures, discrete mathematics and automata, operating systems and software engineering. 

Delivery Format: Courses are delivered over the Internet, via live streaming video; collaborative learning software includes WebEx and Blackboard; classes are archived online for review and easy access.  For those in the Ph.D. program, a year of residency is required.
