Application Process

Depending on the academic program you are applying to, the application process may be different. Click on the appropriate box below and follow the instructions. Just remember that you are not alone in the process. We are here to provide student support every step of the way.

Registration Process

Spring Semester starts Tuesday, January 21, 2020

The following information should be helpful as you navigate through the process.  

Refund Deadline

The last day to receive a 100% refund for Spring 2020 is
Monday, January 27 by 4:30 p.m. Central Time.

Step 1

Speak with your Graduate Advisor

You will need to speak with a graduate advisor from your department before you can select your classes in Joe'SS. If you don't know who your advisor is or you are Distance Graduate Non-Degree Seeking, please email global@mst.edu or call 573-341-6591.


Step 2

Select Your Class

Once you've confirmed with your advisor the course(s) you are taking, you should locate the course information on the Distance Class Schedule webpage. You will need the 5-digit Class Number and Section listed on the schedule in order to find and select the class in Joe'SS. 


Step 3

Enroll Yourself in Joe'SS

Log into Joe'SS > Click on Self Service > Enrollment > Enrollment: Add Classes  

You will select your enrollment term and then add the class to the cart. Make sure the 5-digit Class Number and Section in Joe'SS matches the course from the Distance Class Schedule.

Step 4

Financial Information

Graduate students enrolled in at least four (4) credit hours are eligible for financial aid.  To schedule an appointment with your counselor, please contact the Student Financial Assistance Office at sfa@mst.edu or 1-800-522-0938.

If your company offers educational benefits, you might be interested in our deferred billing program. This is a different program from Sponsored Billing, which is for educational expenses paid by an agency, embassy or company.

 Boeing employees will need to send their LTP vouchers to global@mst.edu for processing. Please contact your LTP Representative for more information.
