Introduces machine learning fundamentals in current computer vision research. Topics include modeling complex data densities, regression and classification models, graphical models such as chains, trees, and grids, temporal models such as particle filtering and models for visual recognition such as deep learning. Students will implement select course topics. (Co-listed with Comp Eng 6340)
