Aerospace Camp
July 21-23 and July 28-30, 2009 Ages 10-13 Three days of action-packed adventure into the world of space flight and aeronautics. Camp Invention June 1-5 and July 13-17, 2009 Rising first through sixth graders Computer Highly Interactive Program (C.H.I.P.) July 19-23, 2009 Rising high school junior and seniors Enjoy “hands-on” computing projects and digital technologies in a variety of fields, such as computer science, computer engineering, and information science and technology. EcoCAR Summer Camp* July 6-10, 2009 Rising high school sophomores, juniors and seniors This week-long residential camp will give you the opportunity to experience the new Plug-in Hydrogen EcoCARs, with labs, modeling, design contests and more. Explosives Camp* June 7-13, June 14-20 and June 21-27, 2009 Rising high school juniors and seniors (must be 16 years of age) Experience explosives in a hands-on learning environment: The only camp of its kind! Girls Go Green July 19-24, 2009 Rising high school junior and senior girls Explore careers that help people and protect the environment. It’s A Girl Thing June 8-12, 2009 Rising 7th and 8th grade girls Experience college life, meet professors and discover what engineers and scientists really do and how they do it! Jackling Introduction to Engineering June 14-18, June 21-25 and July 5-9, 2009 Rising high school juniors and seniors Find out first-hand what engineers actually do. This “intro” course will help you understand how mathematics and sciences relate to engineering. Materials Camp* July 26-31, 2009 Rising high school juniors and seniors Learn about material science and engineering through group projects, visits to labs and local industries, guest presentations and a design-build contest. |

Technology & Engineering (MITE)* May 31-June 5, June 14-19, 2009 Rising high school juniors and seniors Learn about science and engineering, as well as career opportunities in these fields. Missouri Academy for Youth Advancement (MAYA)* Rising 8th through 12th grade students Earn advanced high school credits while you learn in an accelerated and immersed academic environment during this month-long summer institute. Cancelled for summer 2009. Nuclear Engineering Camp July 12-17, 2009 Rising high school juniors and seniors This one-week program introduces you to the fascinating world of nuclear power and the outstanding opportunities in this field. Robotics Camp July 23-25 and July 27-29, 2009 Ages 11-15 Learn the basic principles of robotics in this hands-on program. Sports Camps Summer Research Academy* During Summer Session, June through August 2009 Rising high school seniors or graduating seniors Conduct academic research by being paired with a faculty mentor on a research project. Summer Solutions for Girls June 22-26, 2009 Rising freshman and sophomore girls Experience college life and learn more about career options for women in engineering, math and science.
