Do not send the registration fee with your application. The fee ($750) will only need to be paid if you are accepted into the camp.

This week-long residential camp will give you the opportunity to learn first-hand how Hydrogen Fuel Cell Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicles (FC-PHEV) reduce global environmental impact by minimizing the vehicle's fuel consumption and reducing its emissions while retaining performance, safety and consumer appeal.

Activities include:

• Perform total fuel cycle well-to-wheel modeling
• Visits to E-cubed Commons (hydrogen park)
• Conduct fuel cell vehicle simulations in lab
• Mini course on energy and the environment
• Hydrogen vehicle design contest

Eligibility: The session is limited to 25 students who are rising high school sophomores, juniors or seniors in August 2012. 

Application Process: The application deadline is June 1, 2012. To apply, send the following materials to the address at the right.

2. One page resume
3. 250 word essay on "Why I am interested in hydrogen EcoCARs..."
4. A letter of recommendation from a high school teacher or counselor

Fees & Registration: Registration fee of $750 includes room and board. DO NOT send the registration fee with your application. The fee will only need to be paid if you are accepted. You will be notified, if you have been accepted into the camp. At that time, you will receive an invitation to register. The deadline to register will be announced. The registration fee is due when you register for the camp.

Cancellation Policy:  Missouri S&T reserves the right to cancel any program in the event of insufficient registrations, severe weather or natural disaster. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified immediately via email and phone, and all fees will be returned in full. Persons wishing to cancel their registration must do so one week (7 full days) prior to the first day of their chosen program. No refunds will be made after this date.
