Camp Invention is an extraordinary summer enrichment day camp that lasts one week. Kids love it!

Camp Invention is a non-profit educational outreach program from the National Inventors Hall of Fame Foundation. It promotes a passion for learning science with exciting hands-on activities, and focuses on making learning FUN. We received such enthusiastic comments about last summer’s program that we decided to bring it back!

Each day, students entering grades 1-6 will participate in five innovative modules presented by local teachers, while experimenting with physics, engineering, and creative problem-solving.

Camp Invention has been featured in numerous educational publications, including a recent study by Harvard University. We are pleased to to offer such a quality experience to the students in our community, and invite your child to join us in the fun of science exploration this summer.

Each day children are immersed in five different fun-filled hands-on adventures that enhance their understanding of science, math, history, and the arts. The curriculum is grounded in sound scientific principles and has kids laughing and creating inventions with exuberant enthusiasm. Hands-on, inquiry-based learning is emphasized in integrated curricula that align with national and state standards. All programs include the Camp Invention favorite, "Take Apart/I Can Invent" module, in which children take apart old, broken appliances and use their parts to invent something new!

The program has been welcomed and embraced by parents, students, and educators alike.

Activity Descriptions:

Each Camp Invention program contains five modules that have been carefully tested and piloted for several years before they are nationally launched. The curricula for all modules are aligned with national and state education standards. By popular demand, all Camp Invention programs feature two program favorites that have been completely reinvented - the renowned I Can Invent: Fantasy Inventions & Complicated Machines^TM and Recess Remix^TM modules.
