Professors need to open up Canvas for students. Typically faculty members do not do this until the week before class at the earliest; some faculty members may even wait until the day of the first class. If your professor has not opened up Canvas please be patient, but feel free to reach out to them through phone or email with any concerns you may have. Canvas is not the official registration list, Joe’SS is. If you want to make certain that you are officially registered please check in Joe'SS.

Joe’SS (pronounced “Joe’s”) is short for Joe Miner's Self Service. It is a web portal that allows students access to their account information such as course history, online payment options, payment history, billing statements, financial aid information, registration schedule, transcripts and more. Joe’SS is completely web-based and accessible from anywhere. Here is a link to Joe'SS Log In Portal, and here is a handy Joe'SS Training Page for step-by-step tutorials on a variety of common issues.

Have completed your UM E-Consent? The UM E-Consent needs to be completed before you are able to do anything in Joe'SS. Here is a step-by-step tutorial showing how complete your UM E-Consent.

Our Commencement Ceremony will be livestreamed- a great option for your guests who may not be able to attend live with you! Check out this link for more information. Please note: only graduates who attend live will have their names read.

Hopefully you are able to attend the Global Graduation Reception, if so we encourage you to park in Lots A which are located behind and across from Centennial Hall, and in front of Hasselman Alumni House (where the reception will be held). Gale Bullman (where the commencement ceremony is held) is a short distance away and there will be an EBus available to shuttle attendees to and from Hasselmann Alumni House and Gale Bullman between 8:00am and 12:00pm.

Handicap Parking for the commencement ceremony is available with permit in lot C across from Gale Bullman on the north side of 10th St. and east side of Spring Ave. The lot is accessible from Spring Ave. Guests needing special assistance may be dropped off at the 10th street entrance, (on the north side of Gale Bullman). We recommend you be traveling east on 10th when dropping someone off- making a left turn into the drop-off area may be difficult with the heavy traffic.
