Eng Mgt 5613: Value Analysis

An organized effort at analyzing the function of goods or services for the purpose of achieving the basic functions at the lowest overall cost, consistent with achieving the essential characteristics. Covers the basic philosophy, function analysis, FAST diagramming, creativity techniques, evaluation of alternatives, criteria analysis, and value stream mapping.
