Eng Mgt 5411: Engineering Design Optimization
This course is an introduction to the theory and practice of optimal design as an element of the engineering design process. The use of optimization as a tool in the various stages of product realization and management of engineering and manufacturing activities is stressed. The course stresses the application of nonlinear programming methods.
